Hello

I'm Michael, Gabbi at Kahal Mekor Chaim,

Valencia Dr in Monsey

Writing on behalf of Pauls work

Paul's work is rare and much needed. See the impact in the live video.

The bulk of his clients are 55+ senior living facilities, where budgets are limited. Program directors who book entertainment work within tight constraints set by facility owners, resulting in compensation that doesn't reflect the quality Paul provides. There are no people out there doing what he is doing - he gets the "maximum" pay, and response wherever he goes with loyal supporters up and down the East Coast, but the pay remains low for such high-quality work.

I believe in the spread of Paul's work for its own sake. For the last three years I have offered support - he works incredibly hard. He is constant cycling through friends' houses, AirBnBs, hotels, or sleeping in the car.

His costs far outweigh the income generated, although demand is plain to see.

Paul has taken music as therapy to a new level - every performance contributes to calmness, peace, and participant wellbeing. He has proved himself with audiences of all ages and backgrounds, and developed quality equipment and systems to provide efficiency at a high standard. The results are palpable. Paul performs, and is doing all booking preparations, invoicing, production, gear maintenance - all the behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

With this financial support, he can transition away from a farm night job he also maintains and focus new opportunities in what should be full-time work.

Please join me in supporting the continued propagation of his work. This is an opportunity to share in something meaningful.

I play for seniors and people in assisted living and rehab places. I cheer up their life and I bring them some light. I provide a meaningful service for people who are often forgotten, some tell me they are about to die, many share their personal stories. They get a lot from it and it means a great deal to me to do.

The administrators prefer to book me because I engage. I will usually play a lot longer than most too.

I have to travel, I have an hour set up, I stay and talk afterwards. Sometimes I'll play for free coz the places can’t afford. And the people get such pleasure out of it. I invite you to look at my web site and see what I'm doing and see the reactions.

This is my calling, this is viable. With all the Ai generated stuff these days I may be swimming upstream with only live performance, but it is what contributes to wellbeing not the opposite, isolation - this isn't background music, it's an experience that matters to people in a group format.

There's a lot of people need a lot of service just now. My job is simple. I am of service to senior people with this. Thank G-d it's the most incredible thing.

My GoFundMe is to subsidize the wage; to keep me being able to do it for free, to keep me being able to do it for low wages, to keep me available across the country.

It's no more complicated than that.

This is my GoFundMe pitch, please pitch.

Thank you

“Since Covid all the other entertainers don’t want to come back and they all now ask for $500 and we can’t afford it, Paul has always performed his 2hr show with set up and strip down for $340, this is the most we ever paid any entertainer which usually ranges from $100 to $150 max, but he works hard doing a great job. Paul has been playing at our assisted living communities for three years now and comes almost monthly to entertain, and entertain he does! He is interactive, exciting and even takes requests. He has been known to learn a song or two for our residents. He puts a fun spin on any song and clearly loves what he's doing. I highly suggest him!”

“What a great arrangement of a pop tune and you're looping that piano as you gig? Respect for using your technology. I gig in nursing homes but never strive for this level of quality.” TikTok comment

"I cant believe the level of artistry you're bringing to the people in these residential homes. I bet they'd never seen anything like it before".

Listening room review, Aug 2025

"Wow! This is as different a performance as anything I've seen in terms of the Listening Room Network! It's really more "performance art" than "musical performance"...as much poetry as it is music. He is clearly hugely creative in general, and his lyrics are poetic wonders. And, his piano playing is just exceptional!"

Harmony in Savannah pays $195, which is $95 more than they pay any other entertainer.

And this is their review:

"Such a great performance! Paul Tosh was energetic, inclusive, and so entertaining! Residents loved the interaction and the overall joy brought to the community. We can't wait to have him back!"
