Regards the Jewish elements identified on the campus page, they grew into it all especially with my Chavrusa / Rov Elis influence - it's “part” of it, but also part of it is for me to see the fruition of the work of my hands - literally.
And something worth mentioning, apart from the "part kiruv", that's not the "special" thing about it - that’s in there by dint of, as mentioned all the learning and conversations with Eli.
The thing thats worth mentioning is in some reactions, it makes me think the one really good thing my work might actually function for or service, is it might help save some relationships, of varying types.
The process of much of the writing through the years has been cathartic and personal for one reason or the other, effectively compounded by the crystallization of perspectives when the mews is upon me in live performance giving them a broader and more generous context.
So not as a cure for bad choices, but for one time good relationships, which is one of the most difficult things in the world, there may be something in all of this that appears to be BezH’ useful.
If you read the AUTHORS NOTES on the Operetta page it expands on a few songs and the thinking behind them in this context.
"Even as the performance ended and we instinctively returned to lighthearted conversation, the depth of what we had experienced lingered within each of us, waiting to be unpacked in solitude. I hope he comes again soon!

Rabbi, you got the full force of my artistic "leaning in" while "loosing it" because it was after a performance where I had done great work.
Here is some of that performance in some way to say how terribly sorry I am to have exposed that.
Your reaction when I called to apologise was the greatest form of kiruv there possibly could be.
It is BH' v rare in my life but it crouches at the door after a good gig - it's a big lesson I'm still trying to learn; leaving a place where you can lean in a lot more than anywhere else.
