The one thing missing from the business is - at least as a trial to notice the difference - is wages + commission for a salesman as per the list of targets for a higher price - and to get him started asap to see what he can do with the various targets, to plug away at them and to use the sell and tools and guidelines that I have created to get bookings. He is to blanket it and the results will focus attention geographically - his full time job is to fill the calender with well paid bookings

 

 

 

its not enough to just have alan@babytosh.com we need someone highly trained up by me to be on the phone as "Alans employee", and only on difficult or really big things we will have you "to go to" if the situation requires

SALES GUY

 

THE VERY MOST GREATEST CHIDUSH OF IT ALL IS

I need a sales person who is brutal, not completely brutal (as I dont condone), but more so than me - the videos and web site present on all fronts a highly confident product, I only ruin that when my insecurities show when it comes to negotiation / closing and some things

 

ELI a secondary but equally important REASON TO HAVE SALES MAN IS IM TOO CREATIVE BH' THIS WAY YOU CAN HAVE A CONTROL ON WHAT I DO AND FOR HOW MUCH!!!!

 

 

 

WHATEVER THE COST FOR THREE MONTHS $30 or $50 ph?

 

 

EMPHASIZE

With all the mechanics that are set up for the salesperson to try out – once you see the results you’ll be able to control the salesperson

 

The salesman fielding list will entirely present a stronger position for what the future can bring not that we have alleviated all this in and out of peoples homes and all the logistics in that which is a killer.

BH’ its a stupendous product and it has cost me my life, but it’s great, now Ive got to sell it AND IVE GOT TO BE ABLE TO RESPOND to the sales, and thats what this is all about. Its a two man job. 

 

THE WHOLE SALESMAN THING

When people see these videos and they make enquireys about booking me; from being “found” online or “having been approached” I SHOULDN’T BE ME THEY SPEAK TO AT ALL, unless its to do wit some arty thing.

 

 

 

I am also picking up on verrrry positive comments on the drip release of clips set up in Loomly (although I did it in a basic non algorythum way – addressing this point later)

The most important thing to note that as BH’ the right guy for the product, I’m really not the “best” or “right” guy for "the sell" –It’s not just that im close to every detail of te product and the product is me. I can do the prep and deliver the concert BH', but the sell needs a different animal

 

I can and am doing it, but it's never going to escalate properly with me esp as the sales closer. I am great at getting new contacts that I can pass on.

But as for cold call sales (which the web site is a huge aid to), and price negotiating someone better than me, is anyone but me.

 

Obviously I’m doing it for this round, but I really hope I/we find someone for proper hi ticket jobs – the web site sales tool is highly effective, it should just be in the hands of an organized, persistent person who can follow my well thought out and easy process

In this round I’m placing the J writers show AND operetta, and the Foxes are helping me into Chicago and Atlanta, as well as Charleston.

 

I’m also ready for a full time sales guy for a bespoke concert process. As well as him succeeding in just once placing me in a shul concert (see the lower section of the /jobs page for all targets). Bespoke as per the previous design to pull multiple seniors facilities residents into a single venue

It’s not just that he’d be better at the job, but one eg alone I am making headway with two piano shops; Fox music and Hamilton pianos, it all takes time and persistence / staying on top of, I could and should be approaching every piano shop in the areas I’m heading past, or even as a project to reach out to every one in the usa with my idea as per the email template Fox and Hamilton are using, but it’s all just too much for one person with everything else. I need a dedicated sales person pressing forwards and focusing on only the well paid jobs.

 

I don’t want to waste what I’ve built on so many levels, I want a shot at it, and a shot means for a short time to try; a paid full time salesman who’s good at the job with the exceptional tools and direction provided.

    • This is the final piece of the business jigsaw.

    • A trained, dedicated salesman is needed urgently to implement the existing tools, pursue leads, and close bookings at higher prices.

    • The job: full-time focus on turning prospects into well-paid confirmed gigs, geographically concentrating efforts based on traction.

    • This person is to act as “Alan’s employee”, using the @babytosh.com domain.

    • I will only step in for high-stakes creative/artistic conversations. Otherwise, sales should not be handled by me.

WHY I’M NOT THE SALESMAN

  • The product and content are strong, and present confidently.

  • The product deserves a strong closer. I’m too close to the creative and delivery side to also push hard on the sale.

  • I also generate leads and start the conversation — but the final negotiation and sales follow-up require someone else.

  • The Loomly video drip is being received very positively — but a focused sales person could capitalize much more.

HIRING A SALESPERSON IS CRUCIAL

  • Even now, I’m working with leads in Charleston, Chicago, Atlanta (Foxes helping there), and planning shows like the J-Writers and the new Operetta run.

  • I’m juggling too much. Someone else needs to focus exclusively on:

    • Following up existing leads.

    • Targeting shuls, senior centers, Jewish orgs.

    • Reaching out to piano stores (e.g., Fox Music, Hamilton Pianos), etc.

  • With proper direction and tools, a professional salesperson can make this exponentially bigger than I can alone.
